I am a pediatric nurse practitioner with years of nursing experience in hospital and primary care environments.

I spent the first six years of my career working as a registered nurse in a neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) before joining Dilworth Pediatrics in 2016. In 2018, after earning a master's degree in nursing from Duke University and becoming a certified lactation consultant, I began my career as a nurse practitioner, caring for newborns at a hospital nursery.

In 2020, I rejoined Dilworth Pediatrics, where I enjoy watching our kids grow up. While taking care of newborns remains a great passion, I am happy and grateful to be back in a primary care setting, where I can care for children of all ages alongside amazing colleagues.

Originally from Tennessee (Go VOLS!), I moved to Charlotte in 2012 on a whim. I thought I would stay for a year or two and then move back to Tennessee, but I never left. My husband, Daniel, and I married just prior to the COVID-19 pandemic in a ceremony that featured one of my former NICU patients as our flower girl. He and I are obsessed with our Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Betsy, whom we share with my parents and our cat, Willow. I enjoy traveling, trying new restaurants and, of course, my naps.
